London tops poll for most uninsured drivers

October 1st, 2009

Recently the Motor Insurers Bureau reported estimates that 13% of drivers in the London area were driving without insurance making it the most prevalent region for this activity in the country.

Merseyside, Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire made up the rest of the top four regions.

The MIB (who compensate drivers involved in accidents with uninsured drivers) released these figures in their lastest campaign against uninsured drivers to ultimately bring down the costs of motoring in the UK.
